Filament is only part of it
On long prints, electricity and printer wear can add a third or more to the plastic cost. Failed prints add more again.
Fees are taken from the price
Marketplaces charge a percentage of what the buyer pays. Price from costs alone and the fees eat your margin.
Spools hold less than you think
A 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm PLA is about 335 m. Check the length left before starting a long print.
Common filaments at a glance
| Material | Density g/cm³ | m per kg (1.75 mm) | Nozzle °C |

Are these calculators free?
Yes. Every calculator is free, needs no account and works on phones, tablets and computers.
Which currencies can I use?
Pick your currency at the top of any page. HA Calculator formats every result in that currency. You enter your own prices, so no exchange rates are involved.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. All calculations happen in your browser. The only thing saved is your currency choice and last print cost, stored on your own device.
How accurate are the results?
The formulas are exact; the results are only as accurate as the numbers you enter. Use your slicer’s filament estimate and a measured power figure for the best results.
